Epilepsy Genes "May Cut Seizures"

If you are carrying two genes linked to epilepsy, it may actually make you less likely to have a seizure. This is according to some US researchers. Those who have more than one gene defect might be expected to be more prone to illness, but experts found the reverse to be true. Baylor College of Medicine team reported its findings in the Nature Neuroscience journal, after carrying out its research on mice.
