Broadway Stagehands Go On Strike

Broadway stagehands have gone on strike in New York City. They have shut down more than 20 shows including The Lion King and Mamma Mia. These folks are responsible for moving all the scenery around and the equipment and they have set up picket lines at the theaters. No new talks are scheduled and it is unclear how long this strike will last. What a disappointment to the people who have perhaps traveled on their vacation just to see some broadway shows.
