Support Walgreens

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

For over 100 years Walgreens has been providing prescription drug service to our Military families under the Tricare program.   They had a fine service going between  Walgreens and Express Scripts and then Express Scripts would not agree with them and the contract was cancelled.  Tricare is a part of Express Scripts and would not separate this from the other part of the contract. This means that thousands of Military personnel and their families could no longer get their prescriptions through Express Scripts at Walgreens. Not only that but a great many people not in the Military also may have to travel much farther to get their prescriptions.  It is going to cost the taxpayers more due to this, something that is certainly not needed at this time when the country is having so many problems.  People like you and me are going to perhaps find that we are going to have to go to another pharmacy and pay more for our prescriptions.  Not only that but we will not have the ability of obtaining a prescription 24 hours a day.  However, the Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens is certainly going to be a great help, and the membership is risk free.  Everyone who uses Walgreens should get hold of their local television or radio station and tell them how unhappy you are and get this out before the public.  Petitions have been circulating and you can also follow Walgreens on Twitter  and be sure to "Like"  Walgreens on Facebook too.   If we all get behind Walgreens, perhaps we can all make a difference.
