Rose Bowl Game

It will be a traditional matchup after all for the Rose Bowl. Southern California is going back to Pasadena for New Year's Day for the third straight year, and fourth time in the last five seasons. The Trojans will play Illinois, which made it back to the Rose Bowl for the first time since l983 after Ohio State earned a spot in the national championship game. Coach Ron Zook said if you are a competitor, you want to play the best and obviously, this is one of the best teams in the country, so we will have our hands full and indeed the Illini will.
