Leaders ask Why U.S. Plane Violated Airspace

This was according to the country's foreign minister on Monday. The plan was detected Saturday night near the Caribbean island of La Orchila. It was Navy S-3 Viking, used for counter narcotics missions. It may have accidentally crossed into Venezuela's airspace while experiencing navigational problems on a training mission in international airspace. This was according to a U.S. defense official who was speaking on condition of anonymity because of the issue's sensitivity.
