Christmas

Had a wonderful Christmas.  Lots of family and food.  Neat gifts too and got to hold newest great granddaughter.  She is a month old and so cute.  Took 4 generation picture and many others.  Kids had a hey day opening their gifts. Adults had a great time too.  We had some rough weather in the morning but the sky turned blue and sunshine and it was really nice the rest of the day.

Fish Fry Today

Our neighbor tries to have a neighborhood fish fry once a year.  He is quite a fisherman and catches a lot of yellow bass.  He fries them up in bite size pieces and it is just delicious.  Then the invited neighbors bring the rest of the pot luck dishes and desserts and everyone has a great time.  They have set up a screened in tent this year under  a good shade tree.  We have been having way above normal temperatures and today the wind is to switch to the NW and start cooling down for a day or two.  It is 72 now and I see the trees are beginning to move a little.  It will be a fun day with good food.

Memorial Weekend

We were blessed to have spent yesterday with grandchildren, children, and great grandchildren. It was extremely windy but we survived it. The kids had a great time playing in the new water fountain. We saw the baby chicks that are really growing. The acreage is beautiful and a huge yard for the kids to play in. Everyone was having fun on the big swing set and also in the hammock. Lots of good food was grilled and also they made homemade ice cream. Yum. A great day was had by all.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

It is so much fun when family can get together and see a ballgame together. Here you see father and son and brothers-in-law enjoying the game. They are watching a college game where our grandson has been working at this time. You can see they are having a great time. It is so good for them to get to a live game rather than watch it on TV.

Fun at Church

Today was Vision Sunday at church today and they went over what we have done in the past and what we plan for this year. They set up the church in tables with coffee and donuts and hardhats. It was a lot of fun. The pastor had a great message excentuated by skits telling about each part of his teaching. It was very different and a great deal of fun. We really enjoy our church experience every Sunday though, not just on special events.

You can use clips that Coke has for you and you can say whatever you want and do whatever you want. In the end they'll see whose movie is the highest rated. Coke Zeros campaign "Life as it should be" is the theme for your movie. We all love Coke, so let's have some fun.

Spring Break

It's time for Spring Break at the school and there are alot of kids in the neighborhood and it seems like they are all next door. They are having a ball playing in the huge piles of snow, building snow men, and sliding down the snow hills. Kids never seem to get cold like grownups. They can always have fun playing outside and they are dressed good and warm. I am glad to see that.
