Suppertime

It is going to be suppertime in a little while. The neighbor brought us over two huge vine ripened tomatoes. I can see a BLT in our future soon. But for tonight we are going out to supper. We have found a place with a great fish fry and they have it all day long. They have specials or you can mix up your potatoes and have different kinds. You can choose your own menu and we love that. They have a huge menu to choose from. It is awful windy and hope the wind slows down before we leave tonight.

Family Fun

Pictured here are our twin daughters and their older brother. We had a party and we really had a good time. We went to a very little town that has a fantastic restaurant. There was quite a menu from sandwiches to melt in your mouth steaks. We started of with some very good onion rings and lots of pop. A great meal was had by all and finished up with delicious birthday cake.

Mexican Meal

We went out tonight for a Mexican Meal. My husband had been home for quite a few days and we stayed home due to RAGBRAI going through out town. They had blocked off all the streets we needed to go on to get uptown. So we took off with a few sprinkles coming down and when we came out of the restaurant it was still just lightly sprinkling. We had some great tacos and enchilada. They have a special Tex Mex Night and we really enjoy it.

The Fog Comes on Little Cat Feet

Remember that poem you learned in school? Well, it is true. The fog has been rolling in for several days now and tonight it was very bad. We started out of town for a good steak supper only to turn around in town and head for the nearest Subway. It has really got us socked in good. I feel sorry for anyone who has to drive in this fog at night. It was bad enough in daylight. Maybe tomorrow will be better. With warmer temperatures and melting snow, the air is heavy with moisture and thus the fog.

Tex Mex Night Out

It was Tex Mex night out for us tonight. Everything we had was delicious. We go to our favorite place and know the waitress quite well. She is a sweet gal with a little 4 year old girl. She always knows what we want to drink and has it on the table almost before we sit down. One of the owners is usually there too and she visits with us as well. We saw lots of trucks on the road hauling corn to the elevators. It is kind of a dangerous time to be on the road so you must be alert.

Family Fun

We had a good time this weekend. We went out to eat at a fairly new restaurant. It was quite unique in its decor. We went with part of our family. Our son-in-law was having fun with his grandson as you can see. We had a great meal and lots of conversation. A good time was had by all.
