Grammy's Girl

What a great helper this little gal is for her Grammy. She loves to be cooking and baking with Grammy. It is such fun and making wonderful memories that will last her forever.

Once the meal is ready, they can take a few minutes to sit down and rest together. I remember good times with our grandchildren and now the next generation of great grandchildren are here. Time really flies.

Brothers

There is nothing quite as cute as watching two little ones together. These little brothers are 2 years apart. The older brother watches out for his little brother. He is saying "Mom, my brother fell asleep on me." It is so cute. These are just two of our cute little great grandchildren. We get such a kick out of their antics and just watching them is entertaining.

Kitchen Helper

Here is Grammy's little helper doing what she loves best. She just loves spending time with her Grammy in the kitchen. She is going to be a great cook like her Mom and Grammy when she grows up because she is starting young. She has so much fun and I think her Grammy probably has even more fun than she does. They grow up so fast so every one of these moments are very precious.

Mortgages

Some people may not realize that there are a number of kinds of mortgages other than your usual home mortgage when you bought your house. If you have good credit, the possibilities are almost endless. Our daughter wished to add a large family room onto their home and because they had good credit, they took out a home equity loan. They also found that with all the changes in interest rates that they could refinance their home to a much lower interest rate and have it paid off much sooner. Because they were faithful in their payments, they have built up considerable equity in their home and it makes it possible for them to do all kinds of changes to their home. Now they are planning a double garage and it is possible because they have good credit.

Bad Virus

They took x-rays of my husbands chest and told him he had pneumonia. Gave him 2 painful shots and pills for 10 days and to come back in 5 days. He went back and found out he did not have pneumonia. Instead, he had a virus. It took about 12 days to run the course, leaving him weak the whole time. But now, finally, he is getting his strength back again. He lost his appetite during this time too so was hard to cook for him. He loves poached eggs though so he had those several times. I am glad he is on the mend.

Pneumonia

My husband has pneumonia. It is a good thing the weekend wasn't one day longer or he would have had to go to the hospital. As it is, he had to have 2 powerful shots and pills to take one a day. Can you believe each pill cost $1.20? and we got 10 of them. The first of the year is when the deductible is due again on prescriptions so my husband's should be paid for this year.
