Waiting for Big Sister

It was the first day of school.  Their big sister started Kindergarten.  She gets to ride the bus to and from school.  She loves school and also the bus ride.  Here you see her little brothers waiting in anticipation for her arrival home.  They get so excited they scream with delight when they see the bus coming.  Next year her one brother will start pre-school, then I wonder how little brother will feel.  He will really miss them both alot I am sure.

Duesenberg Auto

Our little town is the home of the Duesenberg Auto. The Duesenberg brothers invented this car in their little shop on Main Street. I remember seeing their building when we moved here but it has since been torn down and replaced with a new building. The town, however, has not forgotten these famous men. Every year, about the 2nd weekend of July, they have Duesey Days. There is a car show, lots of food vendors, plenty of fun for the kids and a judging on Friday night to decide who will represent the town as Little Miss Duesey. Our 6 year old neighbor girl has applied and I hope she wins. I want to go tomorrow morning and see her in the Parade. More of my family will be there and we have a good shady place to sit where we can see everything very well. There is a band tonight and tomorrow night there will be a dance for the adults. A good time is always had by all.

Best Friends

Here you see two little brothers having a good time together. You can tell the older one is kind of looking out for his younger brother. I am sure they are probably watching a good Veggie Tale. They are really a good thing for children to watch. It is so nice to see two little brothers being so close to each other and having a good time.

Brothers

There is nothing quite as cute as watching two little ones together. These little brothers are 2 years apart. The older brother watches out for his little brother. He is saying "Mom, my brother fell asleep on me." It is so cute. These are just two of our cute little great grandchildren. We get such a kick out of their antics and just watching them is entertaining.

Hey, That's my Pacifier

Just look at the look of bewilderment on the face of our little great grandson. Where did his pacifier go? And his big brother is sitting there looking so innocent :0) I wonder how long it will take before the little one finds out where his pacifier is? I bet he will let Mom know in a hurry that he is not too happy with the situation. Funny huh? They are so cute at this age.
