Use Your Camera Wirelessly

I have been blessed with three new great grandsons within three weeks. Because of that I have taken so very many pictures on my camera and everyone in the family wants to see them. I always get my USB cable out and get them onto my computer. That way I can send them out to everyone. But I think I have lost or badly misplaced my USB cable and everyone is driving me crazy to see the pictures. I recently found out I could get an Eye-Fi card that will not only save me time but I will be able to quickly get my pictures out wirelessly. Isn't that great? It will automatically date them too and organize them for me and I won't have to let them sit in my camera and grow old before I get them sent out. Take a few minutes and watch this video and see just how amazing this is.


I found that all I would need to get is a wireless router and an SDHC capable camera. What could be easier? I would be happier and everyone in the family would get their photos and they would be happy with me. No more getting 2 or 3 month old pictures. Now I could get them out in plenty of time and quickly.

January Brings More Snow

Just when you think you have enough snow, it starts again. Got up this morning and went out to get the newspaper. It was fine then but now it is starting to snow. We wouldn't mind so much if we were staying home but we have to travel 30 miles to a doctor appointment. You never know how much black ice there will be on the roads. It pays to leave early and be cautious.

Free Virtual Sheet Music

Everyone who is interested in playing the piano is very interested in obtaining new piano sheet music. I know it has always been a favorite of mine to play new songs on the piano ever since my grandmother paid to have me take piano lessons in eighth grade.

There could be nothing better than obtaining free sheet music could there? In my opinion, checking out the Internet for free is a great way to add to your collection of sheet music. Then when you are asked to play a favorite for someone, you will have a large selection of sheet music to choose from.

One of the easiest ways I have found to increase my inventory of sheet music is through sheet music download. I have found that I can obtain sheet music for all skill levels. This is perfect for me as I am not an accomplished pianist but play more for my own enjoyment.

Grandpa and Grandson

This is a picture of one of our sons and his newest grandson. He is also our newest great grandson. We have three of them now within a couple weeks of each other. It is so much fun to hold the new babies. The best part is you don't have all the work connected to taking care of them and raising them. You can just enjoy them :0)

Hot Supper Tonight

I made a crockpot roast tonight in my new crockpot and it is so tender. I like to use onion salt and garlic salt in the water. I also brown the roast first, salting it with both salts on all sides and browning on all sides. Then into the crockpot and later add carrots, onions and potatoes. Yum Yum. It makes the best gravy and last time I saved enough for hot beef sandwiches. May do that again or just eat the leftover slices on buns. It is soooo good. Serve peaches for dessert and cold milk and you are all set for a delicious meal.

Cubic Zirconia Earrings

It is getting close to Valentines Day and men will be shopping for their girlfriends, significant other, fiancee, wife or even their Mom or another relative. They can't go wrong with cubic zirconia earrings as they are just gorgeous and looks so much like diamonds that you cannot tell them apart unless you are an expert. There are beautiful necklace and earring sets that will make their eyes light up and they will be so excited when they open their gift of lovely jewelry. I am going to check out the Internet for great buys. There are many of the latest styles of earrings to choose from.

Pizza Ranch Tonight

With all this sub zero weather, we have been staying home a lot. I have been really brushing up on my cooking skills :0). But after a while it is nice to get out of the house. It doesn't matter how cold it is, it is good to eat out for a change. Tonight we are going to the Pizza Ranch where we will be treated to a large salad bar, many kinds of pizza, chicken noodle soup, broasted chicken with all the trimmings and a dessert pizza. Can't beat that.
