Windy and Wet

April has turned out to be a rough month weatherwise.  We have had all kinds of snow.  Now we are getting lots of rain.  The wind will blow you away.  Had to wear raincoat this morning with hood and boots to go out to get the paper.  Still got wet.  My gloves were soaked.  Good day to stay in and look out the window.

Snowing and Blowing

Late yesterday afternoon, we got the heaviest snow flurries that I can remember. The wind really picked up and it was blowing the snow off the roofs. It looked like a regular blizzard. Then it would stop just as quickly as it started. Everything had melted off the driveways and streets and now everything has a light coat of white again. I guess we are happy though as this has been the best winter ever.

Spring has Sprung

Spring has sprung, the grass has riz, I wonder where the flowers is??? That's an old saying and Spring may have sprung but around it it feels more like winter is setting in again. We have a cold rain this morning threatening to change to snow. And it is going to change to snow and full snow all day tomorrow they say and more mix and rain on Saturday. What a weekend. Cold temperatures in 30's and wind is blowing like the dickens. And it's going to get worse before it gets better. It's a lousy April so far. Maybe next week will be better.
