New Neighbors

Our neighbors of many years have moved to a retirement apartment. We will surely miss them. She used to bring over several pieces of the best cake I have ever eaten and I would take them pie. I don't blame them for wanting to get away from the lawn mowing and snow moving. There comes a time in life when you just can't do it anymore. So we will be getting new neighbors in 2 weeks and wonder what they will be like.

Breakfast for Supper

Do you ever have a breakfast meal for supper? We do. We had eggs, toast and bacon Saturday night for supper and it was very good. Later on we had bowls of buttered popcorn. Tonight we had pancakes and sausage and that was also very good. I made a chocolate graham cracker pie and we had some for lunch and will probably have more again soon tonight.

Fillings in Teeth

Well back to the dentist I go next week for a filling. I just hate that. My wife had her teeth cleaned too last month and she goes back with me the same day for a filling too. Isn't that a coincidence? There is a neat little homecooking style restaurant two doors down from the dentist that has the best homemade pies in about 10 flavors. My wife loves their coconut cream and I like the apple and custard. So maybe we can stop after we get done at the dentist and have a good piece of pie and ice cream.
