Cold Weather
My husband always hated the cold weather. He dreaded winters. He worked outside most of his life. I know he got very cold so much of his life that he just hated it. He is dead now so he doesn't have to suffer anymore of these cold winters. Last year wasn't so bad but this year is making up for it. It was -3 a bit ago and now is up to zero with wind chills that are dangerous. They say just 10 to 15 minutes outside with bare face or hands and you will have frostbite. Not a happy prospect. Good day to stay in and enjoy the warmth from the furnace.

Is this September or November?
My goodness, we had to turn on the furnace again this morning. I remember when we thought it was too early in October and here we have almost 2 weeks left of September. When we got up this morning, not only was it cold but it was foggy. It was garbage pickup day and glad we put it out last night. Put our sweaters on and it was still cold in the house. The heat feels good from the furnace and that just shouldn't be this early in the year. I hope we don't have an awful winter.

Warm Weather
It went from cold and rainy to hot and sunny overnight. First you need the furnace, then you need the air conditioning. In the mornings it is so cold, frost on the ground yet and you turn on the heat. Then in the afternoon it gets so hot in the house, that you either turn on the air conditioning or open all the windows if you have a good breeze. And where we live, there is always wind. A day without wind is very rare.
