Pets

I sure miss my little Holly.  She was the best little Boston Terrier we ever had.  And we had quite a few of them.  She trained so easily and learned tricks.  She leaves a big empty spot in my life.  I would love to have another but then you have to have someone watch them if you want to go anywhere for long.  It comes a time in life when it is better not to have a pet unless it is a cat.  They seem to go a long time without much attention where it is different with a dog.

Pets are Family

Our little Holly is just like one of the family. She has learned to "talk" to us when she wants something. She knows when it is lunch time and she gets half a slice of American cheese. So if you don't stop what you are doing and start getting lunch, she lets you know about it. If you ask her if she wants "cheese" she will bark and get all excited. Before that, she will just make little noises, letting you know she is ready to eat. She also lets you know when she wants to go out by standing by your chair and "talking" to you. If things are pressing, she will get really loud and then you know you better get going and let her out to do her duty.

Dog is Stroke Victim

I didn't realize that a dog could have a stroke. However, my friend's dog did just that. It happened last night and she gave her dog an aspirin. Then today she took the dog to the Vet and he said that was the best thing she could do. That the dog would be ok. It will lay around for awhile and she has to carry it outside to do its duties, but it will get to walking again. She is eating so that is a good sign too. I am glad my fiend didn't have to put her dog to sleep.

Pet Dogs

We have always loved Boston Terriers and have had several throughout our lives. Right now we have little Holly who is 10 years old and has been the best pet yet. Our son is a breeder and has had several various breeds over the years. While raising Boston Terriers, they got so attached to "Emmy" that they kept her as a permanent part of their family.

When our last little dog died we asked our son to find us a Boston Terrier, if he could, as he was not raising them anymore. He found Holly for us while we were away on a trip. She has an entirely white face, one brown and one blue eye. So although she was AKC, she would never have been able to be a show dog but we really love her and have enjoyed her so much.
