Take Me Out to the Ballgame

It is so much fun when family can get together and see a ballgame together. Here you see father and son and brothers-in-law enjoying the game. They are watching a college game where our grandson has been working at this time. You can see they are having a great time. It is so good for them to get to a live game rather than watch it on TV.

My Friend Rose

My friend Rose is 92 years old and will be 93 in May. She used to live right across from us and owns a Beauty Shop. I used to go have tea with her quite often. We had some good visits. Then she went to live with her son and his wife because she was getting feeble. I had not seen her in quite awhile but today she came to town. I went over and visited with her. She was as glad to see me as I was glad to see her. She has had a lot of medical problems but she is a tough little lady. I think she could live to be 100.

Making Faces

Our little great grandson just keeps us in stitches making faces. He loves to have his picture taken as you can see here.

They live on a farm now and just love it. Since the weather has warmed up they can play on their enclosed porch and it is nice and warm. A great place to raise children. We were able to be on our acreage for 21 years and the kids learned a lot there.

It is so much fun going to the local Casino to play slot machines for the day. I can only think of one thing that people have more fun doing and that is playing the slot machines in the comfort and privacy of their own home. Anyone who has gone to the casino and spent the day having some fun from their regular routine can tell you just how much fun they had there. Police Dog Stabbed

I saw on the news tonight that a Police Dog in training was stabbed 4 times. Who would do such a thing. It is a beautiful young dog. I hope he isn't hurt permanently in any way. I sure hope they get the person who did this. If they have a grudge against the Police, what good do they think it does to hurt an innocent animal? There is just no figuring out some people.

As a person who loves to watch television, I would have to say that my DVR is one of my most prized possessions. Like many other hard working Americans, I have a long, busy week. The old job starts early and ends late in the day. Without my DVR, I would miss out on a bunch of cool programs and shows. My favorite shows to record are Top Chef and That 70's Show.
