Facebook

Are you signed onto Facebook?  Do you have hundreds of friends?  Do you ever think people write some of the dumbest things on there?  A man once said if you have one true friend in your life that will do anything for you, then you are indeed lucky.  So what good does it do to have 350 friends on Facebook.  I don't like some of the things they say and the cussing.  A lot of it is garbage. But I check in every day to see if there happens to be something good on there anyway.

A Bit of Rain

The neighbors threw a birthday party for their 16 year old son. All the aunts and uncles, grandparents and friends were invited. I live right next door and they have been inviting me to the last several parties. It is great that they do that. I get to visit with old friends I don't get to see very much. I know most of his aunts and uncles and his grandparents very well too. It is so nice to get a nice meal I don't have to make myself. It rained just as the party was starting but it was a light rain and stopped again. The wind quit completely so got kind of humid but it is only 69 degrees so quite comfortable. A good time was had by all including me.

My Friend Rose

My friend Rose is 92 years old and will be 93 in May. She used to live right across from us and owns a Beauty Shop. I used to go have tea with her quite often. We had some good visits. Then she went to live with her son and his wife because she was getting feeble. I had not seen her in quite awhile but today she came to town. I went over and visited with her. She was as glad to see me as I was glad to see her. She has had a lot of medical problems but she is a tough little lady. I think she could live to be 100.
