Party Time

Had a triple birthday party Saturday night. My daughter's twins turned 30 and one of the wives turned 28.  my daughter made her famous homemade taco shells and we filled them with all kinds of goodies, along with eating chips and dips and pop.  Then came the desserts.  Pumpkin bars, chocolate cake and angel food cake so each one had their favorite dessert.  What a feast.  It was a lot of fun and all the little kids had a ball.

Mexican Lunch

I have been trying to get into the habit of going over to my brother's home each week. We go out to a place close by that has great Mexican fast food. He loves the tacos with such hot sauce, I could hardly eat them. But I soon learned to get the medium sauce and try the super buritos that are excellent. Our favorite dessert is churros and we look forward to having these each time we eat there.

Mexican Food

I love Mexican Food. We stopped at Taco Tico this noon and had Taco Burgers. They are big and filling and we planned to go out to supper so didn't want to eat too much. They have great platters with rice and beans too. And I love their cherry empanadas and my husband likes the apple ones. We always get great food there and stop every chance we get.

Buritos and Tacos

We went to Taco Tico today and had their Taco Burgers. They are so good and I took home 6 of their buritos because they make great quick lunches. Then we went out to supper in the next town for Mexican and I had a Taco Salad and my husband had three tacos. They have very good fresh food on Wednesday and Thursday nights. The wind is terrible tonight though and you had to be really careful passing farm groves and also on curves. It is about 40 mph and isn't letting up any.
