Golf Course

We had 4 1/2 inches of rain yesterday. We had another 1 1/2 inches today. Our golf course is just one huge lake of water. We have never seen anything like it. Levees are breaking in nearby towns and they are having to evacuate people. They can't drink the water because the water plant isn't working. I wonder what they are doing with the people in nursing homes and the hospital. All restaurants are closed there. Other towns are closed to traffic and campgrounds in a town farther out is under water, trailers, vehicles and all. I saw a deer being swept downstream. Poor thing. What a sight.
