Dangerous Heat

It is 92 degrees right now. That is way too hot for this area. The humidity is going up fast and the weekend looks to be really hot and humid. There is a big carnival and celebration going on in the next town but it is too hot to be outside. Good heat stroke weather. Staying in the air conditioning with the shades down until the sun goes down. Want to go see fireworks on the 4th if it gets down in the 80's and we can stand it. Also family reunion on Saturday but it is out on a farm and lots of room for breeze which makes quite a difference.

Family Reunion

We are having a sort of mini family reunion tomorrow at a good restaurant. We have a room reserved so we can have 4 hours to visit. It is mostly Aunts and Uncles, with a few nieces and nephews thrown in. A niece is flying in tonight from California. We haven't seen her since she was about 8 years old which could be as much as 52 years. She is anxious to meet her family and get acquainted and we are anxious to see her. From the pictures we have seen, she looks just like a young version of her mother.
