Sciatic Nerve Pain

Have you ever had bad sciatic nerve pain? If you have, then you know what real pain is. My husband has been suffering with it in his left hip and leg for some time now. Today he went to the hospital to radiology and they shot cortizone all around his sciatic nerve in hopes of helping the pain. They are going to check in with us next week to see how it is doing. I sure hope it works because it bothers him so much, he can hardly stand to drive 5 miles without a great deal of pain or sit on any type of straight chair.
