Dangerous Chemicals Found at UN
Several vials of potentially dangerous chemicals have been found at a United Nations building in New York. The material, said to include phosgene, is said to have been removed from Iraq during inspections of chemical facilities a decade ago. The UN said the vials had been found by inspectors as they cleared out an office near the UN's headquarters. The material could be potentially hazardous according to a UN spokeswoman but did not pose any immediate risk.

Virginia Failures Must Be Fixed
Key organizational failures that left Virginia Tech student Seung-hui Cho free to kill 32 people should never be repeated, Virginia's governor has said. Tim Kaine lamented a series of missed opportunities that allowed Cho to remain at large despite serious concerns over his mental health. He spoke at the launch of a report that was critical of the emergency response to Cho's April rampage. It says that lives may have been saved if college officials had acted sooner.
Texas Clemency for Death Row Man
The governor of Texas has halted the execution of a getaway driver in a botched 1996 bank robbery that ended with an accomplice shooting a man dead. Governor Rick Perry commuted Kenneth Foster's death sentence to life after a recommendation from the parole board. Foster, who is now 30 years of age, was convicted under a Texas law allowing accomplices to a crime that results in murder to face capital punishment.
Permanent Eye Makeup
Now this I could do - have permanent makeup put on and it lasts anywhere from one to five years. Every morning, one of the first and most important things you have to do is put your makeup on. It kind of gets routine but it still never goes away - the job is always there every morning. How would you like to wake up, made up and beautiful every day without all that extra time wasted to get ready for the day, putting on your makeup? I found this online website Permanent eye makeup that you simply must look into. It is a fine clinic in San Diego and they offer you permanent makeup for your lashes, eyebrows, lips, yes, even permanent lipstick. You can go in and read the testimonials of so many happy clients and I went through their site and looked at the before and after pictures and I was sold on the idea right away. Just the idea of not having to put on your makeup every morning was enough for me anyway. Check them out and see what you think. Maybe we can go together?

Hundreds Arrested At Chili Demonstration
More than 400 people have been arrested after police using tear gas and water cannon clashed with demonstrators in the Chilean capital, Santiago. The worst clashes occurred as marchers tried to approach the government palace, La Moneda. Among the 100 or so injured was a socialists senator. The day long protest was called by Chili's largest trade union federation against free market economic policies. But it was used by many to voice their opposition to the government. They marched in several cities around the country. Outside the capital they were mostly peaceful.
