Bachelor Party

My grandson is getting married in June. Today is his bachelor's party. A bunch of the guys are going to play golf, their favorite sport. The women are preparing lots of luscious food for them whenever they get back from celebrating. They are going to have a fun time. It kind of looks like rain here but they are farther away and should have a great sunny day. It is 60 degrees already and should get warmer so they will probably all have tans.

Now is a wonderful time for all us sports lovers to make our reservations at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing. Coming in March is the NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Tournament and the Walmart FLW Bass Tournament also. Reservations are available at the HIlton Branson Convention Center Hotel too. Both hotels are conveniently located in the center of all the attractions in wonderful Branson. They are both beautiful hotels with all the amenities you enjoy. And the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing and Hilton Convention Center Hotels both have special packages. Check them out before you go.

We have stayed in Branson many times and taken in Silver Dollar City with all its arts and crafts and entertainment. You must not miss out on the Presleys, one of the first music shows along with the Baldknobbers. We just love Jim Stafford's show and YAKOV will have you laughing from beginning to end of their shows. Inbetween the basketball games and golf, be sure to see the Titanic and Shepard of the Hills. Check out the Hilton Hotels special rates and plan 2 weeks of exciting games plus m any of the fine music shows available. Mickey Gilley can really tickle the ivory on his piano and Deno, as well.

Johnson Picks Up Another Win at Sony

Zach Johnson had a lei around his neck and a glass of champagne in his hand Sunday night as he toasted the members of Waialae after a two shot victory in the Sony Open. They laughed and applauded when he said the worst part of Hawaii is leaving it. The best part of winning is that he gets to come back. Hawaii is such a beautiful place.

Johnson closed with a 5-under 65 on Sunday to outlast David Toms in a well played duel along the back nine. He finished with a two putt birdie for a two shot victory over Toms and Adam Scott. Referring to the season opener at Kapalua for PGA Tour winners, Johnson said he gets to go back to Maui again and Oahu too. He said starting his year in these two destinations is pretty awesome. This was his fifth career victory and second in his last six starts and can be traced to last week and his tie for sixth.

Hotels Orlando

Do you have any idea how many hotels there are in Orlando? There are more than you can count and where do you start calling to get a reservation for one of them. You would like a decent price and a good location to all the theme parks. And they have so many beautiful golf courses to go play golf and they can be nearby if you get the right hotel. A neighbor told me about this online website hotels orlando so I got on there and looked them up and he was right. They could get me a great hotel and at a cheap price I could afford. Not only that but they would arrange my flight to Orlando and get me a rental car so I would be ready to go see all the sights as soon as I got there. Of course, I have to take in Disney World but I want to go to some great restaurants too and take in some night life while I am there. They fixed me up with a vistor's guide that showed me everything I needed to know. What a great deal. So if you are planning to go to Orlando, look up their site and go have a ball.

Annika Faces Big Challenge

Annika Sorenstam began a gradual slide from the top of women's golf at the major championship that brought her so much satisfaction. But she salvaged her worst season of this decade last year at the U.S. Women's Open, a week where everything went right. There was thick fog that wiped out the first round at Newport Country Club. This gave her an extra day to refine her swing. She was able to complete 36 holes on Sunday and a four shot victory in the 18 hole playoff, That was when she first felt stiffness and soreness in her neck. It was nothing more than a nuisance at first but it turned into much more. Nine months later, she realized she had a bulging disk in her back and a ruptured disk in her neck. This knocked her out of competition for two months, but she is looking forward to getting back and being 100% again.
