Eagle Scout

We have an Eagle Scout in our church that is working on his project. He had a great soup fundraiser on Sunday and we all filled up on 2 kinds of chili. One was mild and one was very hot. I had the hot kind. Also had a very good chicken noodle. My husband tried both the mild chili and the chicken noodle. In addition, they had 3 flavors of cheesecake, crackers and lemonade, water and coffee. It was nice not to have to go home and make lunch for a change.

Chicken Soup

Well my husband decided he wasn't hungry enough to go for Mexican tonight so we will go tomorrow night. That is fine with me as I am busy blogging anyway. He warmed up some chicken soup that reminds me of the old Liptons noodle soup. It was good along with a dish of cold slice peaches and cold milk. I had a good lunch too today and really didn't need a big supper to go with it. We will enjoy the Mexican more tomorrow night as we will be hungrier.
