Doctor Appointment

I had an eye doctor appointment today. It was a follow up on the cataract surgery I had yesterday. My eye is doing fine. It is still a little foggy but he said it would clear up in 2 or 3 days. I am starting to see more all the time. Colors are beautiful. Can see everything in color, just can't read anything yet. Will be really nice when it clears up.

Cataract Surgery

Next week I am going to have cataract surgery on my left eye. I know it is a good thing to have done because it will help me see to read much better. It seems like I have to blink so much to make the print more clear when I read. They say it takes about 2 hours to get you ready for the surgery and about 2 minutes or less to do it. It isn't long and you are on your way home again.

Cataract Surgery

We found out today that my husband will need cataract surgery on his left eye the end of September. Then they wait about 2-3 weeks to be sure that eye is healed and they will do the surgery on the other eye. He will have great vision for the first time in many years. It is a wonder what they can do. They take out your old eye lens and put in another and your vision is usually 20-20. He will have to get different glasses because they still want you to wear glasses, I think for reading. We live in a great era.
