Huge Moon

Did you get to see the moon when it was so close to earth? I hope so as it was quite a sight to see. I looked out and at first it was bright orange like a Harvest Moon. Then as it climbed above the trees, it became white and you could almost make out hills and valleys on the moon. We always looked for the man in the moon's face but this was so close you could see more. It was quite something to see and won't be that close for several years again.

Special Moon

I hope you all got to see the Super Moon the other night. It was so spectacular. When it first came up it was all orange like a Harvest Moon. Since it was so close to earth, it was huge. You could see land mass on the moon. It was intriguing to see and hard to keep from looking at it again and again.
