Britney Spears Will Launch "Circus" Tour in March

Britney is taking her "Circus" act on the road, in an appearance on ABC's "Good Morning America". The pop star announced that her North American arena tour will open March 3 in New Orleans. She has a new album out, "Circus" which arrived on Tuesday, on her 27th birthday. It is her first tour in five years as she gains career momentum and stability in her personal life. Britney, who sang her hit "Womanizer" on "GMA" begins rehearsals next month.

Spears' 27 city itinerary includes Miami, Atlanta, Boston, Houston, Dallas, Minneapolis, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. She will close the tour on April 28 in Chicago. She will go to London for performances on June 3 and 4. I guess time will tell if she really does this and completes her tour without incident.

Judge Continues Spears' Traffic Case

A judge put the brakes on Britney Spears' driving without a license case Wednesday after her lawyers said they don't believe the troubled pop star is capable of resolving the matter. Superior Court Judge T.K. Herman continued the misdemeanor case until March 20 after lawyer J. Michael Flanagan said Spears' conservatorship attorneys "do not think she is qualified or capable of entering into a binding agreement" at this time. The attorneys also don't believe Spears, 26, is capable of giving a deposition or signed statement.

Dr. Phil vs Britney Spears

Britney Spear's parents reportedly feel that Dr. Phil is a heartless, self-serving leech who is using Brittany's suffering for his own gain. They apparently came to this conclusion as Dr. Phil told his audience he will soon do a show around Britney. He had visited her in a hospital and the Spears family's representative, Lou Taylor blasted Dr. Phil on the "Today" show saying at no time had the Spears family agreed to do such a show. Taylor is angry that Dr. Phil, who visited Britney at the family's request, made public statements about the private affair.
