Baby Shower

Have a baby shower on Saturday. It is for a new little great grandgirl that is due in early December. They have already named her Ava. I haven't heard that name for a long time. Some of the older names are coming back again like Emily too. It will be fun to see all the new things little Ava will receive at the baby shower. I haven't been to a baby shower in quite awhile.

Baby Shower

We are going to a baby shower in 2 weeks. We are expecting the arrival soon of a new great grandson. It is amazing how they know the sex of the baby now way before it is born. I would not like that as I would like it to be a surprise. we had 5 babies and they did not have the equipment at that time to tell whether you were going to have a boy or a girl. I had twins and all the could do is take an x-ray to be sure there were 2 babies. I wish I had asked to see that x-ray but I just never thought about it at the time. It is nice, however, when you go to the baby's shower to know that it is a little boy. Then you can get little boy's outfits and the Mom doesn't have to exchange anything.

Baby Shower

I went to a Baby Shower Sunday for the sweetest girl. She is having a baby boy in 4 weeks. It is amazing how many new things they have now for babies. She got such a variety of great gifts, clothes, wash cloths, blankets, a beautiful quilt and to top it off a baby stroller or buggy, that the top came off and was a baby car seat. They didn't have anything like that when I had all my babies. It's really something. A wonderful present.
