Say yes to the Dress

Guest post written by my buddy Bernardo Graham

I have a friend at work whose brother is getting married next month. She is in the wedding as a bridesmaid and she told me yesterday that she is going to be on the show “Say yes to the dress bridesmaids”. It is supposed to air in the spring, so I will have to check my directv channel guide to make sure I don’t miss it. She actually did not want to be on the show, but she was the only bridesmaid who felt that way, and they could not be on the show unless all of the bridesmaids participated. So she decided that she would agree to going on the show. After all, she is about to gain a sister-in-law and does not want to start off on bad terms. I will be interested to see how the show portrays each bridesmaid. I have seen the show before, and it usually makes it seem like some kind of argument or drama takes place with each wedding party. My friend said that the producers were asking her questions like, “You don’t like the dress, do you?” and saying things like, “The bride told us you are unhappy with her for making you be in the wedding.” Neither of those were true, so she is anxious to see how the show portrays her.
