Deal fo GM to sell Saab Collapses

I had heard that GM wanted to sell Saab to a specialty carmaker. But that company pulled out of the deal. This is the third time this year that one of their deals to get rid of one of its brands has fallen apart. It is trying to recover from a stay in bankruptcy protection. It may decide just to let the brand die. The jobs of 4500 Saab employees, most of them in Sweden, are in jeopardy. It seems every day we hear of another company letting go of huge numbers of employees.
