Men, especially as they age, often have problems urinating. Sometimes it is very hard to get started or the stream is so slow, they seem to be in the bathroom for hours. It is as bad as having to go too often, perhaps worse.
My husband had this laser surgery Thursday and they found a birth defect in his bladder. I wonder how many men are having the same problems he was having and have this defect also? The doctor said he sees a great many of them. It is too bad my husband couldn't have had it fixed 20 years ago. Just in our little town of about 3000, our doctor says she sees about 100 men a year who have this surgery. It is called TURP for short. What a blessing.
