Iowa's minimum wage is set to go up again January 1, the second round of an increase approved by the Legislature earlier this year. Beginning Jan. 1, the minimum wage will increase to $7.25, up from $6.20. The bill approving the two-step increase was signed into law by Gov. Chet Culver on Jan. 25. It was the first increase in the state's minimum wage in 10 years.
