Writers Strike Has Started

The US screenwriters' union has begun its strike which will seriously affect the late night television talk shows. The Writers Guild of America as asked its 12,000 members to stop working and set up picket lines as of yesterday. They intereviwed some of them on television and they want more cash for work which goes on new media such as DVD's or online. Late night shows are expected to be re-runs till this is settled. Last time it lasted 22 weeks I think it was.
