NASA Ex-Astronaut in Court Plea

A former US astronaut accused of trying to kidnap a love rival has appeared in court as she awaits trial. Lisa Nowak, age 44, has been charged with attempted kidnapping, assault and burglary. She asked a judge to release her from her GPS monitoring device. Capt. Nowak allegedly drove hundreds of miles across the US in February to confront her ex-boyfriend's new lover. She has since been sacked by NASA.
